Entertaining is all about creating the right ambiance, preparing a great meal along with the perfect wine or cocktail! As a chef my goal is helping you create your own special ambiance when entertaining in your home.
It's Fall there is a chill in the air and the leaves are falling which is definitely a welcomed change from the heat.
This is time of year when we look forward to bringing out those jackets and making comfort food dishes. Dishes that warm our soul and give us a chance to sit by the fireplace with a hot bowl of soup and cornbread. It’s blueberry time and I am a lover of all things blueberry! As I am still recovering from my eye surgery that happened last month I’ve had more time on my hands, so I have been back baking and experimenting with recipes. Today it’s all about blueberries!

Family Gathering
On the 4th of July I had the honor of hosting a cookout for my family! They traveled from Georgia, California, and some were right here in the metroplex. Everyone joined in on the celebration and we had the best time!

Good-bye to Italy
We have headed back to the states from out Italy trip. It’s been an adventure and a learning experience. The trip provided a departure from our everyday life in the states and opened my eyes to a whole new way of living. Was it what I expected?
